This is exactly what the terrorists wanted, to divide Indians, make us fight and point fingers at each other. The real investigation will lose its way in the maze of political allegation and counter allegations.

Why blame the Home Minister? It seems many Indians have the perception that the Home Minister holds a gun and stand at the border of the country to guard us. And what will the resignations achieve?

The primary responsibility of failure in case of the Mumbai terror attack lies with the Indian Coast Guard and more specifically on officials responsible for the stretch of the coast from where the terrorist entered. How come not a single patrol boat or helicopter spotted the dingy carrying the terrorists? If a boat load of arms and ammunition can easily sail in to Mumbai, anyone can smuggle in drugs, fake currency or gold.

In such incidents the investigations and responsibility must start from the grass root level rather than the other way round.
